This year was tough on everyone for so many reasons. We learned how to make distance learning work, dining room tables became offices and classrooms, and everyone ordered more takeout than they have in years to support their local businesses. The need for help skyrocketed. People lost jobs and livelihoods.
That’s why it was so important to give back this year. That’s why we stepped up. In addition to our normal food donations to local charities, our team looked for more ways to give back in a tumultuous year.
When rioting destroyed a portion of Minneapolis, we were there to deliver 1,000 meals to the clean up crews and those fighting for social justice.
We donated to the American Cancer Society with every signed agreement in October.
We were able to deliver meals and presents to the Ronald McDonald House in Rochester, MN. The notes we recieved warmed our hearts so much!
We collected a box and a half of toys for Toys For Tots. We were so happy to make the holidays merry and bright for needy families.
And to close out the year, we helped ring bells for the Salvation Army.
That’s just a small portion of the volunteering we’ve done this year. Interested in helping us give back more in 2021? Check out A’Britin Gives Back.
