It is for this reason, that once each month we are going to take time out of our day to recognize at least one of our employees, publicly. This month, we are focusing on Abigale Krych, our Director of Office Operations. Abigale joined A’BriTin Catering & Hospitality in June 2018. She started as an office administrator and cost controller, and before too long, was promoted to her new role. Now, Abigale is responsible for overseeing all office operations including managing our reception staff and partnering with our sales team to ensure that no details are missed during the event planning process.
Perhaps most importantly, however, is that Abigale is responsible for those last 30 days before an event takes place. At the 30-day mark, Abigale works with our sales team and transitions all final planning and details to her list of responsibilities. “I view this function as paramount to the wedding, graduation, retirement party, and corporate events process. As an event gets closer to its date, people start getting stressed. My goal is to alleviate that stress for them as much as possible,” Abigale shared.
We all have our menu favorites
Perhaps one of the best things about working for a catering and hospitality company is the amazing food that can be tasted on a regular basis, especially as our top-tier chefs develop new culinary concoctions. “From this Little Piggy Catering, I absolutely love the macaroni and cheese. It’s a homemade recipe and is super delicious. I recommend it to all of our This Little Piggy Catering customers because it is the perfect complement to any pig roast,” Abigale shared.
“For Distinctive Catering, I am in love with the crab bite appetizers. I love seafood, and these bites can be dressed up or down depending on the look and feel of your event. The crab bites are a total crowd-pleaser. On our Apples 2 Apples menu, I really enjoy the butternut squash seasonal ravioli. It’s like dressed-up comfort food, and it is totally organic!”
Tying up your special day with a bow
In Abigale’s critical role overseeing the last 30 days, she wants her customers to know that she’s got their back and is just as invested in their special day as they are. “One of my best wedding planning memories came from an event that took place at the bride’s parent’s residential farm. It was a large guest count with over 400 people. There were so many details tied to the table set-up, the buffet lines, the place settings, etc.” Abigale shared how she worked with the bride to develop mutual trust, and even a bit of a friendship throughout the process in those last 30 days. “At the wedding, it was so rewarding to see how everything came together. I could put faces to names, and it was so special to see the smiles on everyone’s faces. When I saw the bride smiling all day long, I knew that I had something to do with that.”
Of course, we know that the grinning groom likely had something to do with his blushing bride’s smiles, and at A’BriTin Catering & Hospitality, we do everything we can to make sure that there are nothing but smiles on the big day.
When asked what she would say to a bride or groom or anyone planning a special event, Abigale shared “my goal is to ensure the event goes flawlessly. I am here for you every step of the way.”
